L'Oreal Reviews

loreal eye creamL’Oreal’s well-known brand thanks to their star struck advertisements. L’Oreal eye cream product comes in a 0.5 oz glass jar and retails for around $11 depending on where you buy it (prefer Wal-Mart). The cream itself feels like a water based cream. It's thick but not oily, sticky or heavy. There's no scent to it either. It can be used in the morning or at night, under makeup or alone and it's definitely safe for contact wearers. is designed for almost all kinds of skin but seems to be more of a cream used to avoid aging rather than attempt to reverse it.Hence it needs to be put to use before the signs of aging have started, preferably in mid thirties. It has been designed to be a light gel/cream hybrid which is safe for all skin types. The cream is not very moisturizing - it provides just enough moisture to keep wrinkles at bay. This will not be an ideal eye cream if you require deep moisturization around the eyes. The main active ingredient is enzymes which moisturize the skin.

This low-priced priced eye cream has light texture and lies somewhere between a lotion and a gel, so kind of easy to put on. It moisturizes the applied area straight away, and works just fine with the dark circles. As far as the under-eye puffiness is concerned this product is ineffective. Very less side effects have been experienced by the ‘eye defense’ users. Scent is not really that great but tolerable. The scent is sort of a soft crayon smell, or perhaps plastic like, nonetheless it isn’t close to being unbearable. Its been known to cause ‘milia’ beneath the eye in handful cases. It doesn’t leave any greasy residue after using. Its infamous for that stinging sensation initially on application.

While it’s easy for a consumer to buy into the brand loyalty of L’Oreal as a leading cosmetics and skin-care brand, it’s not easy to determine exactly how much effective is this cream when compared to other lesser-known products. The company does offer a money-back assurance, so there’s no risk to at least check it out, nonetheless the readily available product details does nothing to depict the cream as anything further than a generalised moisturizer, and that is undesirable when several independent negative reviews are taken into consideration. All in all it gets 2 out of 5 stars from me.
